Plot:This story by Ahmed Essop is about a wife of an important man to be in the new government and her name is Mrs.Nebo. One day this woman visisted the plaza where the shops are owned by Indian people with her friend Margaret in a chauffeur driven Mercedes Benz.As they were going through the shops Mrs Nebo saw a lovely dress and decided to buy it after paying she then asked the assistant if they have the silk scarf to match this dress but they did not have the scarf to match the dress.They continued to search from shop to shop untill they found the perfect scarf in Mr.Sakur's shop. The scarf was hundred and ten rands after,Mrs nebo took the money out of her bag she then counted it and then realised that she was fifteen rands short.So,she decided to give Mr,Sakur a cheque which he refused to accept as he could only accept cheques in his shop.Then they continued to yell at each other since Mrs Nebo was only determined to go with the silk scaf home while, Mr. Sakur on the other side was very firm with his rules not to accept anything else but cash only.Due to a very noisy dispute between the two everybody (Sakur's friends and other shopkeepers) around the plaza heard them arguing and gathered into Mr.Sakur's shop to listen.So,Margaret a friend of Mrs.Nebo insisted that Mrs.Nebo is the wife of the future minister of foreign affairs so she desever an expcetion.After hearing these Mr sader(shopkeeper) try to convince Mr.Sakur to accept the lady's cheque which again he refused to accept.As a result one shopkeeper decided to buy the scarf for Mrs.Nebo because he think it was dangerous to offend the wife of an important politician.

He was a very short and thin looking man.And was very stubbon man,no one could oppose whatever he says.At the same time he was a sincere man because he wanted everybody to be treated equally whereby if he accept Mrs.Nebo's cheque then so he should do with others.4He is a middle social class man. Lastly,he has a great strength in himself because he can face anybody no matter who you are without fears.

Thorough the tunnel summary-dorris lessing
Settings.Place:beach and the Villa
date:Summer holiday
Plot:The story started in a summer holiday where Jerry and her Mom went to the shore.At the time Jerry was eleven years old and a single child and her mother was a widow.Jerry was impressed by the way big boys swamed so he also wanted to swim perfect as them.As time goes by he started practising on how to be a perfect swimmer by holding the biggest rock he could ever handle and by counting one,two,three....and so forth.One day as he was under water trying to touch the wall of the rock again the salt water was painful in his eyes so he has to swim back to the shore and went back to the villa to wait for his mother. As soon as the mother worked in he then,impatiently asked her to to buy her the swimming goggles.Although his mother didn't really wanted to buy him the goggles so,the least he could do was to nag and pester her until she went with him to the shop.As soon as the googles were bought he then,grabbed them from his mother as if she wasn't going to give them to him and ranned straight to the bay.Now with the googles on he can see clearly and even thought that he had eyes of different kind.Later he thought that he had learn how to control his breath and for now was just to try more so that he can get a way thorought the tunnel.So he counted again one,two,three...at fifty two his chest was hurting so he let go of the rock and went back home and he bled all night long.And he started thinking if this could have happend while he was inside the tunnel and he was thinking maybe if he could try the next summer when he has ended a one year growth in him.So ,he went back to the shore one day to swim again as he was counting he started gasping like a fish and later he scooped up handfils of water from the cool,salty sea,to splash on hish face,and did not know whether it was blood or salt water he tasted.After that his heart quietesd,his eyes cleared and he sat up watching local boys diving although he did not wanted them anymore.So he went back home and it was no longer of the least important to go to the bay.

Jerry was a young boy because he was only eleven years old.His personality was that he had strenght and belief in himself that he would always do things better because he was always convinced that he would swim thorought the tunnel one day.His weakness was that his body was very sensitive because whenever he practise more on how to swim he ended up bleeding.Jerry was also unsincere with his mother sometimes because he used to go to the beach without her permission.Lastly,Jerry is an intelligent boy and an extroverted person because he was always determined to meet new friends as he did with the local boys at the beach.

experience creating the blog account
